Student Life at Alma

A big welcome to all students!

Our aim at Alma is to provide a supportive church family where students will be well fed (literally and spiritually) and encouraged in their Christian faith and service.

Alma’s family-feel gives an instant welcome and offers an easy place to come and explore God’s answers to life’s questions and challenges. There’s a chance to make friends and find support from people of different ages and backgrounds and feel part of something with meaning and purpose.

There are lots of opportunities to get involved in wider church life. You can do this in the following ways - just getting to know people, joining a homegroup, helping with the worship, being a helper at Children's Church or mid-week activities... or even volunteering to serve teas and coffees!

If you are an international student and learning English (or your partner is a student and you are in the UK with them), you're welcome to come along to our Conversation Cafe on Monday afternoons (1.30-3,00pm) where you'll find refreshments and friendship and meet some lovely people.

There are student lunches every Sunday for the first 4 weeks of term - no need to book, just come along and we look forward to getting to know you!
